Decking can vary in many ways, but at MDL we believe that our Chunky Deck (tanalised red wood) is amongst the best around. Being 120mmx34mm (finish size) means that our decking will provide a very strong and aesthetically pleasing platform to complement your garden.

Spindles

Coming in two standard sizes (32mm or 41mm) and fully treated softwood, spindles are the traditional way of creating an enclosure to a deck area. Designs of the spindle can differ but at MDL we believe that we have the quality, design and price to meet your needs.
From £1.00 each (31mm) to £1.50 each (42mm)

Hand rail and Base rail:

Hand and base rail can be used to house a spindle or frame rail to create either a feature or safety measure. Usually purchased in lengths of 1.8m treated softwood, the hand/base rail has a rebated section (32mm or 41mm standard) to allow the spindle or frame to sit.

Newel Posts:

Used to form the structure between the decking platform and the spindles, it is essential that newels are added giving strength and character to the decking area. The newel post design will usually complement the spindle.

Structural timbers:

The decking platform is only as good as the frame that it sits on. All the decking frame range at MDL is fully treated to provide a durable and strong product. Our structural timbers come in various lengths from 2.4m up 4.8m as standard. (Other sizes available upon request).
